Romantic Floral Chest of Drawers

This beautiful piece begins with an antique chest of drawers estimated to be from the 1920s. Crafted of cherry wood, she was built to last. 

I created and artfully adhered every appliqué by hand. Note the stacks of moldings that give it added dimension. 

I mixed a texture additive into the paint to give it that amazing texture. 

The colors are a custom icy blue with white. Very romantic. The subtle cloudy effect creates interest. 

I waxed all of the insides so the drawers will continue to glide smoothly. 

I applied a wonderful salve inside the drawers to nourish them and bring out their beauty. 

Hours and hours of artfully-created work and care went into this one-of-a-kind piece. It’s a great pleasure to offer this work of art to you.
